Olmsted County Adult & Children’s Mental Health Local Advisory Council (LAC)

The LAC consists of people living with mental illness, family members, community program representatives and mental health professionals. It provides input to the Community Services Advisory Board on unmet community needs to help the board allocate resources. The LAC is also ramping up advocacy efforts in the community. Each county has a LAC, so if you are not an Olmsted County resident, we can help you connect with your local council.

Estimated time commitment: 1 hour/month meeting (2nd Monday from 4:00-5:00 p.m.) and 1-2 hours outside the meeting for follow-up work [2-3 total]
