In today’s society, there is a huge emphasis on productivity and efficiency – work, work, work! Unfortunately, this has caused stress, anxiety and burnout to become rampant around the globe.
How do we combat this epidemic? By becoming just as intentional about self-care as we are about completing to-do lists and work goals. Think of it this way; when you exercise, it is also important to rest your body in order to recover. The same goes for your brain. The focus to get things done and be productive is exercise for your brain. Your brain, like your body, needs recovery time – that is where self-care comes into play.
This session focuses on what “self-care” really means, and how can you be intentional about practicing it each and every day.
