Connection Support Group

Our free, peer-led support group for adults living with mental illness will now be held outdoors (weather permitting). No registration required. 

Please review the guidelines for support group attendees:

  • Bring your own chair
  • Facial protection must be worn
  • Stay 6 feet apart from other participants
  • This will be outside so please plan appropriately (sunscreen, water, bug spray, umbrella, etc.) 
  • Stay home if you are sick. Monitor your health symptoms: if you have any COVID 19 symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, etc.) we ask that you not come that week
  • Practice good hygiene (try not to touch your face, wash hands with soap and water for 20 seconds, etc.)
  • Check our Facebook page for any weather cancelations.

Kasson: Every Tuesday

7:00-8:30 p.m. Outside at First Presbyterian Church (parking lot), 101 6th Ave. NW, Kasson, MN

Rochester: Every Wednesday

7:00-8:30 p.m. Outside at NAMI SE MN Office (parking lot) 1700 Broadway Ave North, Rochester, MN

Certified Peer Support Specialists

Peer Support Specialists are available to meet with peers via phone or web please call 507.287.1692 to schedule.

Certified Peer Support Specialists have made significant progress in their own mental illness recovery. They use personal experience to model wellness, hope, self-advocacy and responsibility.

Here are some of the ways Certified Peer Support Specialists can help:

  • Helping identify strengths, abilities and assets in order to reach goals

  • Developing recovery and wellness goals

  • Connecting to local resources

  • Educating about the recovery journey as well as mental health and wellness

  • Facilitating group activities
