Guided Self-Learning Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Class (currently on hold due to COVID-19)
DBT is a therapy modality with the goal of help you learn to manage your difficult emotions by letting yourself experience, recognize and accept them. DBT is a team-based approach offered by intensively trained therapists. Our classes are not therapy and are led by a Certified Peer Specialist. This facilitated group setting provides a safe place to practice DBT’s foundational skills: mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness and emotion regulation. Classes are chance to gain and practice skills to positively impact your recovery. Classes are held in The Lighthouse at 1700 Broadway Ave N, Suite 103 in Rochester.
